Dennis was born in 1970 in San Diego CA. In 1973, he moved to Japan for 3 years to investigate Godzilla sightings. After that, he lived in Washington State until he was kicked out for replacing a crusifix with a disco ball above the alter at a local church. Then it was back home to SoCal where he learned to spin yarn from hamsters with his imaginary friend and his pet armadillo.

    Dennis graduated from La Jolla High School in 1989 and found himself at San Diego State University with a Thumb Wrestling Scholarship. After 6 years of screening coeds for "Art Films" and attending the occasional class, he finally graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education/ Athletic Training and BA in Rope Weaving. He eventually followed that up in 2004 with a Masters of Science in Sports Medicine and a formula for Non-Combustable Hemp, much to the disappointment of his fraternity brothers.

    Dennis now lives in La Jolla, CA with his wife and 2 sons. Dennis spends his days writing comics and short stories as well as working as an Athletic Trainer for Palomar College. Dennis also spent time with the San Diego Stingrays basketball team, Head Athletic Trainer for the San Diego Wildfire basketball team, the San Diego Riptide arena football team, and various ESPN X-Games. When he is not working in comics or fitting pro athletes for prosthetic limbs, Dennis likes to read books and breed competitive Elvis Impersonators.
